Abstract
An error amplifier generates an electric current signal that is constant electric current. A signal processing circuit inputs input voltage for generating an electric current signal having a target electric current value, to the error amplifier, and detects a failure by comparing a voltage value of voltage output from the error amplifier with a determination voltage value.
Claims12
A constant current device, comprising:
- an error amplifier that generates an electric current signal that is constant electric current;
- and
- a signal processing circuit that inputs input voltage for generating the electric current signal having a target electric current value to the error amplifier and detects a failure by comparing a voltage value of voltage output from the error amplifier with a determination voltage value.
A failure detection method for a constant current circuit including an error amplifier that generates an electric current signal that is constant electric current, wherein a signal processing circuit executes:
- inputting input voltage for generating the electric current signal having a target electric current value to the error amplifier;
- and
- detecting a failure by comparing a voltage value of voltage output from the error amplifier with a determination voltage value.
