Exhaustion apparatus, cooking appliance having exhaustion apparatus, and method of controlling the cooking appliance

A cooking appliance comprising:

• a main body including a cooking chamber;
• a door configured to open and close the cooking chamber;
• a fan in a space between the main body and the cooking chamber and configured to draw air in to the main body and discharge, from the main body, the air that is drawn in;
• a first suction part in a first area of a panel on a bottom side of the main body, the first suction part configured to guide a flow of air drawn in from the first area by the fan;
• a second suction part in a second area of the panel that is forward of the first area relative to a front of the main body, the second suction part configured to rotate relative to the main body such that the second suction part is tilted relative to the main body, and to guide a flow of air drawn in from the second area by the fan;
• and
• a drive assembly configured to:
• rotate the second suction part relative to the main body such that the second suction part is tilted relative to the main body and at least a portion of the second suction part is protruded from the main body, and
• rotate the second suction part relative to the main body such that the portion protruded from the main body is retracted to the main body.
