15) A storage system of articles comprising a storage unit of articles, the storage unit of articles comprising:

• a frame;
• containers for articles, each comprising a first part, a second part and, between the first part and the second part, an opening for entry and outlet of the articles;
• wherein the storage unit of articles is self-moving and comprises displacement means for displacing the frame or the storage unit of articles is transportable and the storage system of articles comprises displacement means for displacing the frame;
• wherein the storage unit of articles comprises a support system which supports the containers in such a way that:
• the containers are movable with respect to the frame according to a closed looped pathway which has an upper portion, a lower portion, a first portion which extends vertically and a second portion which extends vertically, with the upper portion and the lower portion being both interposed between the first portion and the second portion;
• a plurality of containers is mutually overlapped in the first portion and a plurality of containers is mutually overlapped in the second portion;
• each container has the first part above the second part in the first portion, the second part above the first part in the second portion and the opening facing in a moving away direction from the containers of the second portion in the first portion,
• wherein the storage unit of articles comprises movement means for moving the support system so as to move the containers with respect to the frame and
• in that wherein the containers and the pathway are configured in such a way that the second part in the first portion and the first part in the second portion are horizontal or inclined with respect to a horizontal plane so as to prevent the falling of the articles.
