Abstract

A vehicle hood for opening and closing a front compartment arranged in a body includes a resin outer panel, a support panel having an outline designed to align with a profile line of the outer panel in a plan view, and a frame member formed in a U-letter planar shape which is open toward a vehicle rear region and having an outline designed to align at an edge portion with a profile line of the support panel in the plan view, the frame member including left and right rear end portions which are rotatably attached to the body, in which the support panel is mounted on the frame member and includes a U-shaped portion which is overlaid on the frame member and a center portion which is not overlaid on the frame member, and the outer panel is overlaid on top of the support panel and fixed thereto.
