Road use motor vehicle and automotive seat

An automotive seat for use with a motor vehicle comprising a passenger compartment, the automotive seat comprising:

• a substantially horizontal seat-base;
• a backrest which rises from a rear edge of the seat-base;
• and
• a barrier wall, which is fixed to the backrest on the opposite side to the seat-base, and is adapted to extend cantilevered towards a rear bulkhead of the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle, so as to hamper air circulation in an empty space between the backrest itself and said rear bulkhead.

A motor vehicle, comprising:

• a vehicle body;
• a plurality of ground resting wheels;
• a passenger compartment, comprising:
• an open top that is at least partially closable by a movable cover;
• a front that is at least partially defined by a windscreen;
• and
• a rear that is at least partially defined by a rear bulkhead;
• a seat positioned in the passenger compartment, comprising:
• a seat base adapted to accommodate and support a person in a seated position;
• and
• a backrest adjacent the rear bulkhead;
• and
• a barrier wall which extends intermediate the backrest of the seat and the rear bulkhead so as to hamper air circulation in a space between the backrest and the rear bulkhead.
