Abstract

The disclosure provides a belt arm configured for use as a component of an orthotic brace. The belt arm includes a proximal portion, a medial portion, a distal portion, and a tightening strap comprised of an unbroken loop material and including a proximal end portion having hook fastener portion, wherein the tightening strap is configured to be threaded through a fastener of a tightening mechanism of the orthotic brace thereby folding over and removably coupling to itself via the hook fastener portion coupling with the UBL material, and wherein the tightening strap is configured to couple with a posterior side of the distal portion. The belt arm may include an anchoring member that is formed of (i) a fabric strap, where a distal end of which is attached to the posterior side of the distal portion, and (ii) a connector ring attached to a proximal end of the fabric strap.
