A cleaner head for an appliance includes a liquid distribution tank for storing liquid to be distributed to a surface to be cleaned, and a housing within which the liquid distribution tank is located. The liquid distribution tank comprises an inlet, and the inlet is located within an internal volume of the housing.

A cleaner head for an appliance, the cleaner head comprising:
- a liquid distribution tank for storing liquid to be distributed to a surface to be cleaned;
- and
- a housing within which the liquid distribution tank is located,
- wherein the liquid distribution tank comprises an inlet, and the inlet is located within an internal volume of the housing.
