Abstract
An assembly is provided. The assembly may include a face mask to conform to a face of a user, the face mask including an adapter including one or more venting pathways to alter a direction of one or more exhaled gasses traveling in an initial direction. An assembly may include a face shield, the face shield selectively engageable with the face mask. An assembly may include a connector including a magnetic engagement structure to couple the face mask to the face shield in a predetermined orientation.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a face mask including one or more venting pathways configured to alter a direction of one or more gases exhaled in an initial direction by a wearer, the face mask including an adapter;
- a face shield removably attachable with the adapter of the face mask;
- and
- at least one attachment element extending from the face mask, the at least one attachment element configured to selectively engage a surgical mask covering a nose and a mouth of the wearer.
A system comprising:
- a surgical mask;
- a face mask including venting pathways configured to alter a direction of one or more gases exhaled in an initial direction by a wearer, wherein the venting pathways are on an inside surface of the face mask which is adjacent the surgical mask;
- a face shield removably attachable with the face mask;
- and
- attachment elements extending from the face mask, the attachment elements selectively engageable with the surgical mask when covering a nose of the wearer.
A system comprising:
- a face mask including venting pathways, wherein the venting pathways are configured to redirect gases exhaled in a first direction by a wearer to a second direction that is about orthogonal to the first direction;
- a face shield removably attachable with the face mask;
- and
- at least one attachment element extending from the face mask, the at least one attachment element configured to selectively engage a surgical mask covering a nose and a mouth of the wearer.
