Pre-answer caller intent preview systems and methods

A machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processing system including a processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:

• maintaining a caller intent preview database structured to store a plurality of user data including first user data, wherein the first user data include data identifying a first user device and location thereof, a second user ID as trusted user data, and one or more active sensors operating in a range that reaches a first user;
• receiving, from a caller intent preview application running on the first user device, a call detection directed to a second user;
• upon checking the second user stored as the trusted user data,
• receiving sensor data indicative of a first user state and an environment of the first user, using onboard sensors of the first user device, the one or more active sensors, or both;
• and
• generating caller intent preview at least based on the received sensor data.

A method, comprising:

• receiving, by a processing system of a network node including a processor, a call attempt from a caller to a call recipient;
• determining, by the processing system, that the call recipient is a trusted party to the caller by checking a record of the call recipient in a caller intent preview database structured to store caller related data;
• receiving, by the processing system, sensor data describing conditions related to the caller and surroundings of the caller;
• and
• presenting, by the processing system, a data stream between the caller and the call recipient that comprises a preview of an intent of the caller to the call recipient before a call is completed, wherein the preview of the intent of the caller includes prediction information indicative of urgency of the call attempt from the caller.
