Protocol data unit (pdu) set size indication correction based on an inaccuracy condition

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• at least one memory;
• and
• at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the apparatus to:
• transmit, to a real-time protocol (RTP) device, a first one or more protocol data unit (PDU) sets, wherein each PDU set of the first one or more PDU sets has a respective PDU set size and includes a respective PDU set size indication;
• receive, from the RTP device, a correction factor for PDU set size indications based at least in part on the first one or more PDU sets;
• calculate, for each PDU set of a second one or more PDU sets, a respective corrected PDU set size using the correction factor;
• and
• transmit, to the RTP device, the second one or more PDU sets, wherein each PDU set of the second one or more PDU sets includes a respective corrected PDU set size indication based at least in part on the respective corrected PDU set sizes.

A method for wireless communication, the method comprising:

• receiving, from a real-time protocol (RTP) device, one or more protocol data unit (PDU) sets, wherein each PDU set of the one or more PDU sets has a respective PDU set size and includes a respective PDU set size indication;
• determining a correction factor for PDU set size indications based at least in part on a comparison between the respective PDU set sizes and the respective PDU set size indications;
• and
• transmitting, to the RTP device, the correction factor based at least in part on an inaccuracy condition being satisfied.

A method for wireless communication, the method comprising:

• transmitting, to a real-time protocol (RTP) device, a first one or more protocol data unit (PDU) sets, wherein each PDU set of the first one or more PDU sets has a respective PDU set size and includes a respective PDU set size indication;
• receiving, from the RTP device, a correction factor for PDU set size indications based at least in part on the first one or more PDU sets;
• calculating, for each PDU set of a second one or more PDU sets, a respective corrected PDU set size using the correction factor;
• and
• transmitting, to the RTP device, the second one or more PDU sets, wherein each PDU set of the second one or more PDU sets includes a respective corrected PDU set size indication based at least in part on the respective corrected PDU set sizes.
