Methods And Systems Of Providing Graphical Representations Of Logical Formulas

A computer implemented system for providing a graphical representation of a logical formula, the system comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory with computer code instructions stored thereon, the processor and the memory, with the computer code instructions, being configured to cause the computer implemented system to:
• based on logical scopes from a logical formula, partition a graphical space using one or more graphical elements;
• place tables in the graphical space partitioned, at least one table placed including a table reference based on the logical scopes and a table attribute based on predicates from the logical formula;
• and
• based on the predicates and the logical scopes, display at least one connection between the tables placed, wherein the at least one connection indicates a given predicate and wherein logical scope of the given predicate is independent of endpoints of the at least one connection, the graphical space partitioned using the one or more graphical elements, the tables placed, and the at least one connection displayed providing a graphical representation of the logical formula.

A method of providing a graphical representation of a logical formula, the method comprising:

• based on logical scopes from a logical formula, partitioning a graphical space using one or more graphical elements;
• placing tables in the graphical space partitioned, at least one table placed including a table reference based on the logical scopes and a table attribute based on predicates from the logical formula;
• and
• based on the predicates and the logical scopes, displaying at least one connection between the tables placed, wherein the at least one connection (i) indicates a given predicate and (ii) includes at least one annotation unambiguously representing the given predicate as an aggregation predicate or an assignment predicate, the graphical space partitioned using the one or more graphical elements, the tables placed, and the at least one connection displayed providing a graphical representation of the logical formula.
