Abstract
A recording medium transport device includes a belt member that performs circulatory movement and that transports a recording medium attached to an outer peripheral surface of the belt member, a protruding portion that protrudes from the outer peripheral surface of the belt member, that is provided in a linear shape, and that is disposed in a state of being inclined with respect to a movement direction of the belt member, and a removing member that is disposed in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the belt member and that removes an attachment attached to the outer peripheral surface.

A recording medium transport device comprising:
- a belt member that performs circulatory movement and that transports a recording medium attached to an outer peripheral surface of the belt member;
- a protruding portion that protrudes from the outer peripheral surface of the belt member, that is provided in a linear shape, and that is disposed in a state of being inclined with respect to a movement direction of the belt member;
- and
- a removing member that is disposed in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the belt member and that removes an attachment attached to the outer peripheral surface.
