Abstract
A crossbow includes a first plate including a slot, a second plate including a slot, the second plate coupled to the first plate and extending substantially parallel to the first plate, the second plate spaced apart from the first plate, an upper flexible limb coupled with the first plate, a lower flexible limb coupled with the second plate, a draw string operatively engaged with the upper flexible limb and the lower flexible limb, the draw string configured to move from a released position to a drawn position, and a trigger box slidably coupled with the first plate the second plate and engaged with the slot of the first plate and the slot of the second plate, the trigger box configured to selectively engage with the draw string to move the draw string between the released position the drawn position.

A crossbow, comprising:
- a frame member;
- a plate coupled to the frame member and spaced apart from the frame member to define an opening therebetween;
- a pair of flexible limbs coupled with the plate;
- a draw string operatively engaged with the pair of flexible limbs, the draw string extending at least partially within the opening and configured to move from a released position to a drawn position;
- and
- a trigger box configured to selectively engage with the draw string to move the draw string between the released position the drawn position, the trigger box slidably engaged with the plate and positioned within the opening.
A crossbow, comprising:
- a frame including:
- a plate including at least one slot or protrusion;
- and
- an accessory rail mount spaced apart from the plate to define an opening therebetween;
- a first flexible limb coupled with the plate;
- a second flexible limb coupled with the plate;
- a draw string operatively engaged with the first flexible limb and the second flexible limb, and located between the plate and the accessory rail mount, the draw string configured to move from a released position to a drawn position;
- and
- a trigger box slidably engaged with the plate, the trigger box including at least one protrusion or slot corresponding to the at least one slot or protrusion of the plate and configured to engage with the at least one slot or protrusion of the plate, and wherein the trigger box is configured to selectively engage with the draw string to move the draw string between the released position the drawn position with the trigger box positioned within the opening.
A crossbow, comprising:
- a first plate;
- a second plate coupled to the first plate and spaced apart from the first plate;
- an upper flexible limb coupled with the first plate;
- a lower flexible limb coupled with the second plate;
- a draw string including a serving portion, the draw string operatively engaged with the upper flexible limb and the lower flexible limb, the draw string configured to move from a released position to a drawn position, wherein the serving portion is positioned between the first plate and the second plate with the draw string in the released position and in the drawn position;
- and
- a string catch configured to selectively retain the draw string, the string catch positioned between the first plate and the second plate.
