Food storage box

A system comprising:

• a food storage box configured to store food, the food storage box comprising a base plate configured to support the food to be stored thereon and a cover configured to cover the food from above;
• a food lifting element configured to penetrate at least one food lifting opening of the base plate to lift the food stored in the food storage box, wherein a first flap arrangement is assigned to the at least one food lifting opening and is configured to open and close the at least one food lifting opening, wherein the system further comprises at least one of:
• a cover opening element configured to penetrate at least one cover lifting opening of the base plate to open the cover, wherein a second flap arrangement is assigned to the at least one cover lifting opening and is configured to open and close the at least one cover lifting opening;
• or
• a cover/food opening element configured to penetrate the at least one cover lifting opening and food lifting opening to open the cover and to lift the food stored in the food storage box, wherein a combined flap arrangement is assigned to the at least one food lifting opening and the at least one cover lifting opening and is configured to open and close the at least one food lifting opening and the at least one cover lifting opening.

A food processing apparatus comprising:

• a food storage device configured to store a plurality of food storage boxes, each of the plurality of food storage boxes being a food storage box having food stored therein, the food storage box comprising a base plate configured to support the food to be stored thereon and a cover configured to cover the food from above;
• a food processing device configured to process the food responsive to the food being removed from the food storage box;
• a food lifting element configured to penetrate at least one food lifting opening to lift the food stored in the food storage box, wherein a first flap arrangement is assigned to the at least one food lifting opening and is configured to open and close the at least one food lifting opening;
• a cover opening element configured to penetrate at least one cover lifting opening to open the cover of the food storage box, wherein a second flap arrangement is assigned to the at least one cover lifting opening and is configured to open and close the at least one cover lifting opening;
• and
• a cover/food opening element configured to penetrate the at least one cover lifting opening and the at least one food lifting opening to open the cover of and to lift the food stored in the food storage box, wherein a combined flap arrangement is assigned to the at least one food lifting opening and the at least one cover lifting opening and is configured to open and close the at least one food lifting opening and the at least one cover lifting opening;
• and
• a food lifter being configured adapted to extract lifted food from the food storage box that has been opened or configured to reinsert a processed food into the food storage box that has been opened.

A method comprising at least one of:

• moving a food lifting element through at least one food lifting opening formed by a base plate of a food storage box to at least one of lift or tilt at least a portion of a first flap arrangement of the base plate to lift food to be stored within the food storage box, wherein the first flap arrangement is assigned to the at least one food lifting opening and is configured to open and close the at least one food lifting opening, wherein the base plate is configured to support the food, and wherein a cover of the food storage box is configured to cover the food from above;
• moving a cover opening element through at least one cover lifting opening formed by the base plate to at least one of lift or tilt at least a portion of a second flap arrangement of the base plate towards the cover to open the cover, wherein the second flap arrangement is assigned to the at least one cover lifting opening and is configured to open and close the at least one cover lifting opening;
• moving a cover/food opening element through the at least one cover lifting opening and the at least one food lifting opening to lift or tilt at least a portion of a combined flap arrangement to lift the food and open the cover, wherein the combined flap arrangement is assigned to the at least one food lifting opening and the at least one cover lifting opening and is configured to open and close the at least one food lifting opening and the at least one cover lifting opening.
