Weighing and conveying apparatus, and weighing, conveying, and packaging apparatus

A weighing and conveying apparatus, comprising:

• a weighing unit configured to weigh an article;
• a conveying unit configured to convey, by operating a drive motor, the article weighed by the weighing unit;
• a conveying control unit configured to start conveyance of the article by the conveying unit when a weight of the article weighed by the weighing unit is not greater than an upper limit weight, or is less than the upper limit weight;
• a switching unit configured to switch between conveying speeds of the conveying unit;
• and
• a storage unit configured to store the upper limit weight for each of the conveying speeds switched by the switching unit,
• wherein the upper limit weight stored in the storage unit is a weight of the article at which a load current generated in the drive motor reaches an allowable maximum load current of the drive motor when the article is conveyed at the corresponding one of the conveying speeds.
