The invention relates to an installation (100) for impregnating a porous material (14) with powder (12), comprising: first and second electrodes (16, 26) generating an electric field within an electric field zone (E), through which the porous material (14) provided with powder (12) passes, a lower conveyor (17) capable of moving the porous material (14) provided with powder (12) between the first and second electrodes (16, 26), and a powder distribution zone (P) at which the powder (12) is deposited on the porous material (14), said distribution zone (P) being located upstream of the electric field zone (E), characterised in that the installation further comprises members (15) that extend perpendicularly to the plane of the lower conveyor (17) and come into contact with only one part of said porous material (14). An installation (100) for impregnating a porous material (14) with powder (12) having first and second electrodes (16, 26) generating an electric field within an electric field zone (E), through which the porous material (14) provided with powder (12) passes. A lower conveyor (17) is capable of moving the porous material (14) provided with powder (12) between the first and second electrodes (16, 26) A powder distribution zone (P) is provided at which the powder (12) is deposited on the porous material (14), the distribution zone (P) being located upstream of the electric field zone (E) The installation further has members (15) that extend perpendicularly to the plane of the lower conveyor (17) and come into contact with only one part of said porous material (14).
