Stethoscope cover dispenser

A system for dispensing a cover comprising an adhesive portion for application to a stethoscope, comprising:

• a cartridge comprising:
• a body having an exterior surface and an interior surface;
• a roll of media rotatably coupled to the body, the roll of media comprising a continuous sheet having removable adhesive portions and non-adhesive portions;
• and
• a first gear operably coupled to the roll of media, such that a rotation of the first gear rotates the roll of media;
• a housing, the housing having a body with an exterior surface and an interior surface, the body configured to receive the cartridge;
• one or more sensors coupled to the housing and configured to detect a presence of an object adjacent the housing;
• and
• a second gear operably coupled to an actuator disposed within the housing, the second gear configured to mesh with the first gear, wherein a rotation of the second gear rotates the first gear,
• wherein detection of the presence of the object by the one or more sensors causes dispensing of an adhesive portion of the continuous sheet through a slot of the housing.
