Smart Makeup Box with Integrated Display and Optimized Storage Arrangement

A cosmetic box comprising:

• a main body, the main body having a first surface, wherein the first surface is provided with a mounting flange;
• a storage part formed in the main body, the storage part having an opening;
• an ultraviolet lamp to emit a UV light onto a user's face;
• a camera mounted on the main body to capture image of the user's face;
• a display part having a display on the first surface, the display is configured to display an image captured by the camera to present a real-time visualization of a cosmetic coverage on the user's face;
• and
• a rotating cover having a rotating hole, the rotating cover is movably sleeved on the mounting flange, the rotating cover rotates relative to the first surface to transition between a first state, in which the rotating cover blocks the opening, and a second state, in which the rotating cover opens the opening.

A method for applying cosmetics using a cosmetic box, the cosmetic box comprising a main body having a storage part with a storage cavity, a display part with a display, an ultraviolet lamp, and a camera, the method comprising:

• positioning a user's face in front of the camera;
• emitting ultraviolet light onto the user's face using the ultraviolet lamp;
• capturing an image of the user's face with the camera;
• processing the captured image to determine cosmetic coverage and displaying a real-time visualization of the cosmetic application on the display;
• and
• indicating disparities in cosmetic coverage by highlighting different areas in one or more colors on the display.
