Abstract
The provided is a pole mechanism and an outdoor umbrella. The pole mechanism includes: an upright post provided with a first limiting member; a pole assembly including a slider and a gripping housing disposed on the slider, where the slider is slidably connected to the upright post; and a locking assembly including a second limiting member and an unlocking member disposed on the second limiting member, where the second limiting member is disposed inside the gripping housing; the second limiting member cooperates with the first limiting member to limit the pole assembly at a desired position on the upright post; and the unlocking member is at least partially located outside the gripping housing. The unlocking member is adjustable to make the pole assembly slidable up and down along the upright post.

A pole mechanism, comprising:
- an upright post;
- a pole assembly, comprising a slider and a gripping housing disposed on the slider, wherein the slider is slidably connected to the upright post;
- and
- a locking assembly, comprising a second limiting member, an unlocking member, and a first limiting member disposed on the upright post, wherein the unlocking member is at least partially located outside the gripping housing;
- the second limiting member is at least partially disposed inside the gripping housing;
- the second limiting member cooperates with the first limiting member to limit the slider at a desired position on the upright post;
- and the unlocking member is disposed on the second limiting member to unlock the second limiting member and the first limiting member.
