A computer-implemented method of providing emergency response assistance, comprising:
- providing an emergency response application to an emergency service provider (ESP), wherein the emergency response application includes a graphical user interface (GUI) displaying a list of emergency incidents;
- receiving selection of an emergency incident from the list of emergency incidents;
- presenting one or more selectable low acuity triage options associated with one or more low acuity providers (LAPs) with the GUI of the emergency response application;
- receiving selection of one of the low acuity triage options associated with a corresponding one of the one or more LAPs;
- and
- transmitting emergency data associated with the emergency incident to the one of the one or more LAPs.
A system for providing emergency response assistance, the system comprising a network component operatively in communication with a plurality of emergency service providers (ESPs) and a plurality of low acuity providers (LAPs), and a processor, operatively coupled to the network component, the processor configured to:
- provide an emergency response application to an emergency service provider (ESP), wherein the emergency response application includes a graphical user interface (GUI) operable to display a list of emergency incidents;
- receive a selection of an emergency incident from the list of emergency incidents;
- display, in the GUI, one or more selectable low acuity triage options associated with one or more low acuity providers (LAPs) with the GUI of the emergency response application;
- receive a selection of one of the low acuity triage options associated with a corresponding one of the one or more LAPs;
- and
