Abstract
The invention relates to a pin assembly, a pin positioning body, a coupling system for earth moving machines, and an assembly method, mainly to a pin assembly formed by a positioning body coupled to a pin used for coupling between a tooth and an adapter of earth moving machines, the pin being of the type having an elongated body of revolution about an axis and being inserted between the tooth and the adapter to ensure coupling between the two.
Claims13
A pin assembly for coupling between a female body and a male body of an earth moving machine, comprising a pin with an elongated body with respect to an axis of revolution, with a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and with at least one projection perpendicular to the axis of revolution, arranged close to the first end with a free end and two sides, said projection having a first surface close to the first end of the pin, with a length between the body of the pin and the free end, a width between the two sides, and a height of the projection determined by said first surface and a second surface separated from said first surface a specific distance towards the second end of the pin, characterized in that it further comprises a positioning body coupled to the projection and extending beyond the free end of the projection, extending the length of the first surface of said projection.
A positioning body for the pin, of an earth moving machine, characterized in that it comprises a first upper part having a height, a length, and a width, and a first protrusion in said first part of the body comprising:
- A second intermediate part, with a height, length, and width,
- A third lower part, with a height, length, and width, connected to the first part through the second part,
- the length of the second part being smaller than the length of the third part and also smaller than the length of the first part, determining a first space between the first part and the third part.
