Abstract
The present disclosure provides a composition containing a vinyl alcohol polymer and an amphipathic substance.
Claims16
A composition comprising:
- a vinyl alcohol polymer (A);
- and an amphipathic substance (B), wherein
- the vinyl alcohol polymer (A) is a vinyl alcohol polymer comprising a carbonyl group and having a degree of saponification of 60 mol % or more, and
- the amphipathic substance (B) comprises at least one selected from a group consisting of a vinyl alcohol polymer having a degree of saponification of less than 60 mol %, and a surfactant.

A method for producing a vinyl polymer, the method comprising:
- subjecting a vinyl compound to polymerization in the presence of a vinyl alcohol polymer (A) and an amphipathic substance (B), wherein
- the vinyl alcohol polymer (A) is a vinyl alcohol polymer comprising a carbonyl group and having a degree of saponification of 60 mol % or more, and
- the amphipathic substance (B) comprises at least one selected from a group consisting of a vinyl alcohol polymer having a degree of saponification of less than 60 mol %, and a surfactant.
