Polyurethane-acetoacetate compounds

A compound comprising polyacetoacetate functionality and at least one urethane linkage, comprising at least one of the following Structures (I) to (III):

• wherein R1 comprises an acetoacetate containing group;
• wherein R2 comprises a hydrogen, methyl, or an acetoacetate containing group;
• wherein R3 is bound to the nitrogen of the urethane linkage and comprises at least two acetoacetate containing groups;
• wherein R4 is bound to the nitrogen of the urethane linkage and comprises a hydrogen, alkyl, or an acetoacetate containing group;
• wherein a is 1 or 2;
• wherein R5 comprises an acetoacetate containing group;
• wherein R6 comprises a hydrogen, methyl, or an acetoacetate containing group;
• wherein R7 is bound to the nitrogen of the urethane linkage and comprises at least one acetoacetate containing group;
• wherein R8 is bound to the nitrogen of the urethane linkage and comprises at least one acetoacetate containing group;
• wherein b is 1 or 2;
• wherein R9, R15, and R18 each independently comprise an acetoacetate containing group;
• wherein R10, R14, and R17 each independently comprise a hydrogen, methyl, or acetoacetate containing group;
• wherein R11 is bound to the nitrogen of the urethane linkage and comprises an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl,
• wherein g is 2 to 70,
• wherein the sum of h, j, and k is 5 to 6, wherein R19 comprises a hydrogen, methyl, or an acetoacetate containing group, wherein R20 comprises an acetoacetate containing group, and wherein m comprises 1 or 2, or
• wherein R34 comprises a hydrogen, methyl, or an acetoacetate containing group, wherein R35 comprises an acetoacetate containing group, and wherein v comprises 1 or 2;
• wherein R12 and R16 each independently comprise a hydrogen, an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, or an aryl;
• wherein R13 is bound to the nitrogen of the urethane linkage and comprises an alkyl;
• wherein c, d, and e are each independently 1 or 2;
• and
• wherein f is 0 to 3.
