Abstract
A packaging assembly for perishable items including food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and/or biological materials. The packaging includes one or more components configured to maintain and/or control the temperature of the package. The packaging assembly includes a first box at least partially laminated with a metallized film, a liner positionable inside the first box, a second box positionable inside the liner, a cooling agent positionable inside the liner, and an air cushion panel positionable inside the liner.

A packaging assembly for perishable items, the packaging assembly comprising:
- a first box at least partially laminated with a metallized film;
- a liner positionable inside the first box;
- a second box positionable inside the liner;
- a cooling agent positionable inside the liner;
- and
- an air cushion panel positionable inside the liner.
A liner for a packaging assembly, the liner comprising:
- a first layer comprising a metallized low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film;
- a second layer comprising at least one polyethylene based bubble film;
- and
- an adhesive strip positioned on the first layer, the adhesive strip configured to secure the liner to an interior surface of a box.
A packaging assembly for perishable items, the packaging assembly comprising:
- a first box;
- and
- a liner positionable inside the first box, the liner comprising,
- a first layer comprising a metallized low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film;
- a second layer comprising at least one polyethylene based bubble film;
- and
- an adhesive strip positioned on the first layer, the adhesive strip configured to secure the liner to an interior surface of the first box.
