Exercise platform chassis

An exercise platform chassis comprising:

• first and second platform members that together define an elongated base structure and are spaced from one another along a lengthwise dimension;
• an intermediate coupling body disposed between the first and second platform members and extending along a widthwise direction, the intermediate coupling body mechanically interconnecting the first and second platform members and permitting relative angular movement of the first and second platform members;
• a translation guide associated with the first platform member and configured to constrain movement of a movable carriage to a path extending along the lengthwise dimension;
• and
• an elastic resistance interface associated with the intermediate coupling body and configured to operatively couple the movable carriage to the intermediate coupling body to oppose movement of the movable carriage along the path.

An exercise platform chassis comprising:

• a support platform defining a planar support surface;
• a coupling hub positioned along a side of the support platform and extending in a first dimension;
• a translation guide associated with support platform and defining a guide path extending along a second dimension that is perpendicular to the first dimension;
• a movable carriage mounted to the translation guide for constrained translation along the guide path;
• and
• an elastic resistance interface associated with the coupling hub and configured to elastically couple the movable carriage to the coupling hub such that movement of the movable carriage along the guide path is resisted by one or more elastic tension members.
