Abstract
A medical device may include a handle having an actuator. A medical device may include a shaft. A medical device may include an end effector at a distal end of the medical device, wherein the actuator is configured to (1) articulate the shaft in response to moving the actuator in a first direction relative to a body of the handle and (2) actuate the end effector in response to moving the actuator in a second direction relative to the body of the handle.
Claims20
A medical device, comprising:
- a handle having an actuator;
- a shaft;
- and
- an end effector at a distal end of the medical device;
- wherein the actuator is configured to (1) articulate the shaft in response to moving the actuator in a first direction relative to a body of the handle and (2) actuate the end effector in response to moving the actuator in a second direction relative to the body of the handle.
2 more elements
A medical device, comprising:
- a handle having an actuator;
- a shaft;
- an end effector;
- and
- a wire disposed within the handle and the shaft, wherein the wire is coupled to the actuator and the end effector, wherein the actuator is configured to (1) articulate the shaft by moving the wire proximally relative to the shaft, and (2) actuate the end effector by moving the wire distally relative to the shaft.
2 more elements
A medical device, comprising:
- a handle having a body and an actuator movably coupled to the body;
- a shaft;
- and
- an end effector having a first jaw and a second jaw;
- wherein the actuator is configured to (a) together articulate the shaft, the first jaw, and the second jaw and (b) move the first jaw relative to the second jaw.
