Abstract
A travel suitcase system including an external pocket system. The suitcase system may be a hardshell suitcase including rigid construction. The external pocket system may be sized to enable one or more liquid containers including water bottles or other containers configured to store liquid or similar sized items. The external pocket system may be coupled to a side of the suitcase system. The external pocket system may be coupled to a side of the suitcase system that pivots about a hinge section or area to allow the suitcase system to open thereabout.

A suitcase system including:
- a front, a back, a left side, and a right side forming a main cavity for storing items therein, one of the right side and left side is openable to the cavity;
- and
- an external pocket system (EPS), the EPS coupled to one of the left side and right side not openable to cavity, the EPS including a body sized to enable items to be stored therein to the outside of the one of the left side and right side.
