Abstract
This application discloses a method, a system, and a related device. A controller may determine a first optical channel between an optical transmitting device and an optical receiving device in a first slot based on a data transmission request, and then send configuration information to the optical transmitting device, to indicate the optical transmitting device to send first data to the optical receiving device in the first slot based on a phase compensation coefficient of the first optical channel, so as to compensate for a phase error caused by the first optical channel, thereby improving data recovery accuracy of the optical receiving device, and reducing a bit error rate.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- sending, by an optical transmitting device, a data transmission request to a controller, wherein the data transmission request indicates that the optical transmitting device has a requirement for sending first data to an optical receiving device in a first slot;
- sending, by the controller, configuration information to the optical transmitting device based on the data transmission request, wherein the configuration information indicates the optical transmitting device to send the first data in the first slot based on a first phase compensation coefficient of a first optical channel in an optical interconnection network, and the first optical channel is used to transmit, to the optical receiving device in the first slot, an optical signal sent by the optical transmitting device;
- carrying, by the optical transmitting device, the first data on a first optical signal in the first slot based on the first phase compensation coefficient according to an indication of the configuration information, and then inputting the first optical signal on which phase compensation is performed into the first optical channel;
- and
- recovering, by the optical receiving device in the first slot, the first data from the first optical signal that is output by the first optical channel.
A system, wherein the system comprises a plurality of optical communication devices and a controller, and the plurality of optical communication devices comprise an optical transmitting device and an optical receiving device;
- the optical transmitting device is configured to send a data transmission request to the controller, wherein the data transmission request indicates that the optical transmitting device has a requirement for sending first data to the optical receiving device in a first slot;
- the controller is configured to send configuration information to the optical transmitting device based on the data transmission request, wherein the configuration information indicates the optical transmitting device to send the first data in the first slot based on a first phase compensation coefficient of a first optical channel in an optical interconnection network, and the first optical channel is used to transmit, to the optical receiving device in the first slot, an optical signal sent by the optical transmitting device;
- the optical transmitting device is configured to carry the first data on a first optical signal in the first slot based on the first phase compensation coefficient according to an indication of the configuration information, and then input the first optical signal on which phase compensation is performed into the first optical channel;
- and
- the optical receiving device is configured to recover, in the first slot, the first data from the first optical signal that is output by the first optical channel.
A method, comprising:
- receiving a data transmission request from an optical transmitting device, wherein the data transmission request indicates that the optical transmitting device has a requirement for sending first data to an optical receiving device in a first slot;
- and
- sending configuration information to the optical transmitting device based on the data transmission request, wherein the configuration information indicates the optical transmitting device to send the first data in the first slot based on a first phase compensation coefficient of a first optical channel in an optical interconnection network, and the first optical channel is used to transmit, to the optical receiving device in the first slot, an optical signal sent by the optical transmitting device.
