The present invention provides a modification method of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), which comprises the following steps: dispersing nanoparticles into a liquid phase environment, adding the PHA, and blending at a high speed to modify, and simultaneously, combining with the extraction process of the PHA, namely continuously and integrally performing extraction and modification, and achieving high-purity extraction and reinforcing and toughening modification of the PHA by a one-step method. The PHA material obtained by the method can be directly applied to multiple fields without subsequent modification processing.
