Abstract
The present disclosure provides immunomodulatory fusion proteins comprising a collagen-binding domain operably linked to an immunomodulatory domain. The disclosure also features compositions and methods of using the same, for example, to treat cancer.
Claims9
An immunomodulatory fusion protein comprising:
- (i) an immunomodulatory domain comprising IL-2;
- (ii) a collagen-binding domain comprising LAIR having the amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 187, 188, 189, 190, 191, 192, and 193;
- and
- (iii) an albumin linker,
- wherein the immunomodulatory domain is operably linked with the linker to the collagen-binding domain;
- and
- wherein the fusion protein binds type I and/or type IV collagen upon administration in vivo and the collagen-binding domain increases tumor retention and prevents systemic exposure to cytokine.
