Abstract

In order to provide lavatories with a facilitated use for persons with reduced mobility, a lavatory of an aircraft cabin includes at least a first lavatory space with a toilet, a housing structure enclosing the lavatory space at least partly and a bracket arrangement for a temporary mount of an upper support for a user sitting on the toilet. The housing structure includes at least one housing segment of the group of a first lateral wall segment, a second lateral wall segment, a front wall segment, a rear wall segment and a lavatory ceiling segment. The bracket arrangement includes at least two brackets fixedly attached on the at least one housing segment such that the upper support can be temporarily mounted in a support position such that it is arranged above a head of a user when sitting on the toilet.
