A process of manufacturing a golf club component. The process includes spreading a layer of metal powder over a build plane defined over a build platform and bonding portions of the layer of metal powder. The golf club component comprises a support structure. The support structure includes a plurality of segments. The support structure defines a plane L1 that forms a build angle A1 with respect to the build plane, and a plane L2 that forms a build angle A2 with respect to the build plane. Each of the plane L1 and the plane L2 is formed by a portion of the plurality of segments that are aligned and orientated at the build angle A1 and the build angle A2, respectively, relative to the build plane. At least one of the build angle A1 or the build angle A2 is greater than or equal to 30 degrees.
