Abstract
A method for fractional ultrasonic treatment with a uniform coverage of a skin treatment area includes: using a first focused ultrasonic energy to create a regularly arranged set of focuses into the skin treatment area; and using a second focused ultrasonic energy to create an irregularly arranged set of focuses into the skin treatment area.
Claims16
A method for fractional ultrasonic treatment with a uniform coverage of a skin treatment area, comprising:
- using a first focused ultrasonic energy to create a regularly arranged set of focuses into the skin treatment area;
- and
- using a second focused ultrasonic energy to create an irregularly arranged set of focuses into the skin treatment area.
An ultrasonic treatment system applying focused ultrasonic energy with a uniform coverage of a skin treatment area, comprising:
- a first handpiece, configured to respectively contact different regions of interests (ROIs) on the skin surface while applying a first focused ultrasonic energy to create a regularly arranged set of focuses into the treatment area;
- a second handpiece, configured to slide continuously along the skin surface while applying a second focused ultrasonic energy to create an irregularly arranged set of focuses into the treatment area;
- and
- a controller, coupled to the first handpiece and the second handpiece, configured to control the regularly arranged set of focuses and the irregularly arranged set of focuses to be created respectively and independently.
