Claims20
A system for modifying gait mechanics of a patient, the system comprising:
- a gait modifier outsole comprising:
- a hindfoot portion;
- and
- a forefoot portion connected to the hindfoot portion;
- and
- an adjustment platform configured to receive the gait modifier outsole;
- wherein the adjustment platform comprises a plurality of actuation mechanisms, each of which is configured to adjust relative positions of the hindfoot portion and the forefoot portion.
A system for modifying gait mechanics of a patient through use of a second outsole attachable to a first outsole of a shoe, the second outsole comprising a hindfoot portion, a forefoot portion, and a central portion connecting the hindfoot portion and the forefoot portion, the system comprising:
- a baseline fixture configured to record anatomic features of the patient;
- and
- an adjustment platform configured to receive the second outsole;
- wherein the adjustment platform comprises a first locating feature configured to facilitate alignment of the second outsole relative to the baseline fixture.
A system for modifying gait mechanics of a patient, the system comprising:
- a gait modifier comprising a second outsole comprising a hindfoot portion and a forefoot portion;
- and
- an adjustment platform configured to receive the second outsole;
- wherein:
- the adjustment platform comprises an outsole receiving portion configured to receive one of the hindfoot portion and the forefoot portion;
- and
