Abstract
An edge protector that is configurable between first and second configurations. In a first configuration, the edge protector has a first side having a distal opening and a first bottom flap, a second side having a distal opening and a second bottom flap, and a divider portion between the first and second sides defining a proximal opening. The divider portion has a center fold line, a first side fold line spaced apart from a first side of the center fold line, and a second side fold line spaced apart from a second side of the center fold line. In a second configuration, the edge protector has a third side defined by folding the divider portion at the center fold line and interlocking the first and second bottom flaps.
Claims19
An edge protector comprising:
- a first side having a distal opening and a first bottom flap;
- a second side having a distal opening and second bottom flap;
- and
- a divider portion between the first and second sides defining a proximal opening, the divider portion is pivotable within the proximal opening.
An edge protector comprising:
- a first side having a distal opening and a first bottom flap;
- a second side having a distal opening and second bottom flap;
- and
- a divider portion between the first and second sides defining a proximal opening.
An edge protector comprising:
- a first side having a distal opening and a first bottom flap;
- a second side having a distal opening and second bottom flap;
- a divider portion between the first and second sides defining a proximal opening, the divider portion a center fold line, a first side fold line spaced apart from a first side of the center fold line, and a second side fold line spaced apart from a second side of the center fold line;
- a retaining flap on at least one of the first and second sides, the retaining flap is scored to accommodate being folded into the proximal opening of the respective first and second sides;
- and
- a retaining tab in at least one of the first and second bottom flaps, the retaining tab is scored to accommodate being folded into the distal opening.
