Control of Access to a Motor Vehicle

A method for controlling access to a motor vehicle, the method comprising steps of:

• receiving a first command message with respect to administrative access to a digital vehicle key for the motor vehicle, where the key is saved on a memory card;
• transmitting a forward message of a message exchange;
• receiving a return message of the message exchange, wherein the return message comprising a return signature;
• checking the return signature utilizing a saved certificate;
• and,
• on the basis of the check of the return signature, transmitting a confirmation message with respect to the administrative access executed.

A method for controlling access to a motor vehicle, the method comprising the steps:

• receiving a forward message of a message exchange, wherein the message exchange relates to an administrative access to a digital vehicle key for the motor vehicle, wherein the digital vehicle key is saved on a memory card, and wherein the forward message comprises a forward signature;
• checking the forward signature utilizing a saved certificate with respect to the memory card;
• and,
• on the basis of the check of the forward signature, transmitting a return message of the message exchange.

A system configured to control access to a motor vehicle, comprising:

• the vehicle, which is configured for saving a digital vehicle key;
• a mobile device configured to control an access to the motor vehicle, the mobile device comprising one or more processes configured to execute a method comprising the steps of:
• transmitting a first command message with respect to administrative access to a digital vehicle key for the motor vehicle, where the key is saved on a memory card;
• receiving and relaying of a forward message of a message exchange;
• receiving and relaying of a return message of the message exchange;
• and
• receiving a confirmation message with respect to the administrative access executed;
• at least one memory card configured to control access to a motor vehicle, the memory card comprising one or processors configured to execute a method comprising the steps of:
• receiving a first command message with respect to administrative access to a digital vehicle key for the motor vehicle, where the key is saved on a memory card;
• transmitting a forward message of a message exchange;
• receiving a return message of the message exchange, wherein the return message comprising a return signature;
• checking the return signature utilizing a saved certificate;
• and,
• on the basis of the check of the return signature, transmitting a confirmation message with respect to the administrative access executed;
• and
• a computer-readable storage medium comprising a set of instruction that when executed by a processor cause the processor to control access to a motor vehicle according to a method comprising the steps of:
• receiving a forward message of a message exchange, wherein the message exchange relates to an administrative access to a digital vehicle key for the motor vehicle, wherein the digital vehicle key is saved on a memory card, and wherein the forward message comprises a forward signature;
• checking the forward signature utilizing a saved certificate with respect to the memory card;
• and,
• on the basis of the check of the forward signature, transmitting a return message of the message exchange.
