A control method of an image printing apparatus, the control method comprising:

• executing processing for transitioning the image printing apparatus to a power saving state with the power of the image printing apparatus kept on, based on a non-operating time period for which the image printing apparatus has been in a non-operating state and information indicating whether or not the image printing apparatus in the non-operating state is in a predetermined state;
• executing processing for automatically turning off the power of the image printing apparatus from the power saving state, based on the non-operating time period of the image printing apparatus;
• and
• executing processing for automatically turning off the power of the image printing apparatus from a state other than the power saving state, based on the nonoperating time period of the image printing apparatus.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program which causes a computer to perform an information processing method, the information processing method comprising:

• executing processing for transitioning the image printing apparatus to a power saving state with the power of the image printing apparatus kept on, based on a non-operating time period for which the image printing apparatus has been in a non-operating state and information indicating whether or not the image printing apparatus in the non-operating state is in a predetermined state;
• executing processing for automatically turning off the power of the image printing apparatus from the power saving state, based on the non-operating time period of the image printing apparatus;
• and
• executing processing for automatically turning off the power of the image printing apparatus from a state other than the power saving state, based on the nonoperating time period of the image printing apparatus.
