Abstract
A manufacturing apparatus for a display device includes: a pad assembly including a body, a core member, and a pad coupled together and configured to move in a vertical direction; and a jig configured to accommodate at least a portion of the pad assembly. At least a portion of the core member is in a body accommodating area formed by the body, and the core member has an expansion opening covered by the pad and facing an inner surface of the pad.

A manufacturing apparatus for a display device, the manufacturing apparatus comprising:
- a pad assembly comprising a body, a core member, and a pad coupled together and configured to move in a vertical direction;
- and
- a jig configured to accommodate at least a portion of the pad assembly,
- wherein at least a portion of the core member is in a body accommodating area formed by the body, and
- the core member has an expansion opening covered by the pad and facing an inner surface of the pad.
A method of manufacturing a display device, the method comprising:
- providing a pad assembly comprising a body, a core member, and a pad coupled together, a display panel on the pad assembly, and a cover window facing the display panel;
- adjusting a shape of the pad;
- and
- molding the display panel and the cover window after the adjusting the shape of the pad.
