Abstract
Compositions and methods of treatment of cancer including DNP and/or prodrugs of DNP are disclosed.
Claims28
A method of treating cancer comprising:
- administering to a patient in need thereof a therapeutic amount of dinitrophenol (DNP) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
- wherein the therapeutic amount of DNP is in the range of about 0.01 mg/kg of body weight to about 20 mg/kg of body weight.
A method of treating cancer comprising:
- administering to a patient in need thereof a therapeutic amount of a prodrug of dinitrophenol (DNP) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
- wherein the therapeutic amount of the prodrug of DNP is in the range of about 0.01 mg/kg of body weight to about 200 mg/kg of body weight.
