## Abstract

Personal care compositions and, particularly, personal care compositions having a concentrated formulation are disclosed herein. In accordance with an aspect of the disclosure, provided is a personal care composition having from about 30 to about 95 wt. % of a surfactant system comprising: an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, and a nonionic surfactant; and from about 5 to about 35 wt. % of a polyol, wherein the personal care composition has a weight ratio of the anionic surfactant to the amphoteric surfactant ranging from about 3:1 to about 1:4 and a weight ratio of the anionic surfactant to the nonionic surfactant ranging from about 3:1 to 1:2, wherein all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the personal care composition.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A personal care composition comprising:
from about 30 to about 95 wt. % of a surfactant system comprising:
an anionic surfactant,
an amphoteric surfactant, and
a nonionic surfactant; and
from about 5 to about 35 wt. % of a polyol,
wherein the personal care composition has a weight ratio of the amount of the anionic surfactant to the amount of the amphoteric surfactant ranging from about 3:1 to about 1:4 and a weight ratio of the amount of the anionic surfactant to the amount of the nonionic surfactant ranging from about 3:1 to 1:2, wherein all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the personal care composition.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The personal care composition according to claim 1, wherein the surfactant system is present in an amount from about 66 to about 95 wt. %; optionally, from about 70 to about 95 wt. %, or about 75 to about 95 wt. %.
