Abstract
Circuitry for measuring a characteristic of an electrochemical cell, the circuitry comprising: a comparator having a first comparator input, a second comparator input and a comparator output; a feedback path between the comparator output and the second comparator input configured to provide a feedback signal to the second comparator input; and a loop filter configured to apply filtering to the feedback path to generate the feedback signal, wherein the loop filter comprises the electrochemical cell.

Measurement circuitry comprising:
- an input voltage node;
- a reference voltage node;
- a first output node;
- and
- a first half bridge comprising:
- a first circuit element under test having a first impedance;
- and
- a first voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO),
- wherein the first circuit element under test is coupled in series with the first VCO between the input voltage node and the reference voltage node, wherein the first VCO is configured to output a first oscillating signal having a first frequency via the first output node, and wherein the first frequency is proportional to a current flowing from the input voltage node to the reference voltage node.
A continuous analyte monitor comprising measurement circuitry, comprising:
- a reference voltage node;
- an output node;
- and
- a half bridge comprising:
- an electrochemical cell having an impedance;
- and
- a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO),
- wherein the electrochemical cell is coupled in series with the VCO between the input voltage node and the reference voltage node, wherein the VCO is configured to output an oscillating signal having a frequency via the output node, and wherein the frequency is proportional to a current flowing from the input voltage node to the reference voltage node.
