The elongate body can include an appliance mating portion configured to removably couple the elongate body to a hair care appliance. The appliance mating portion can have an air inlet configured to receive airflow from the hair care appliance. The elongate body can also include a clamping portion having a first heater assembly, and a plurality of air outlets extending longitudinally there along. The hair care accessory can also include an arm coupled to the elongate body. The arm can have a second heater assembly. The arm can be movable between an open position in which the second heater assembly is spaced from the first heater assembly, and a closed position in which the first and second heater assemblies are configured to clamp hair therebetween. ## Claims ### Claim at position 1 1-67. (canceled) ### Claim 68 A hair care accessory, comprising: an elongate body having an appliance mating portion configured to removably couple the elongate body to a hair care appliance, the appliance mating portion having an air inlet configured to receive airflow from the hair care appliance, wherein the elongate body and the hair care appliance are removeably coupled by one or more slots and one or more protrusions that correspond to the one or more slots; a clamping portion having a first heater assembly, and a plurality of air outlets extending longitudinally therealong; and an arm coupled to the elongate body, the arm having a second heater assembly, the arm being movable between an open position in which the second heater assembly is spaced from the first heater assembly, and a closed position in which the first and second heater assemblies are configured to clamp hair therebetween. ### Claim 69 (depends on 68) The hair care accessory of claim 68, wherein the one or more slots and the one or more corresponding protrusions mate when the hair care accessory is removably coupled to the hair care appliance. ### Claim 70 (depends on 68) The hair care accessory of claim 68, wherein the hair care appliance and the hair care accessory are coupled together by rotating the one or more protrusions into the one or more corresponding slots. ### Claim 71 (depends on 68) The hair care accessory of claim 68, wherein the hair care appliance and the hair care accessory are coupled together by friction fit of the one or more protrusions in the one or more slots. ### Claim 72 A hair care accessory, comprising: an elongate body having: an appliance mating portion configured to removably couple the elongate body to a hair care appliance via one or more slots and one or more corresponding protrusions, the appliance mating portion having an air inlet configured to receive airflow from the hair care appliance, the appliance mating portion having one or more electrical contacts configured to allow power and signals to be received by the elongate body from the haircare appliance; a clamping portion having a first heater assembly and a plurality of air outlets extending longitudinally therealong; and an arm coupled to the elongate body, the arm having a second heater assembly, the arm being movable between an open position in which the second heater assembly is spaced from the first heater assembly, and a closed position in which the first and second heater assemblies are configured to clamp hair therebetween. ### Claim 73 (depends on 72) The hair care accessory of claim 72, wherein the one or more slots and the one or more corresponding protrusions mate when the hair care accessory is removably coupled to the hair care appliance. ### Claim 74 (depends on 72) The hair care accessory of claim 72, wherein the hair care appliance and the hair care accessory are coupled together by rotating the one or more protrusions into the one or more corresponding slots. ### Claim 75 (depends on 72) The hair care accessory of claim 72, wherein the hair care appliance and the hair care accessory are coupled together by friction fit of the one or more protrusions in the one or more slots. ### Claim 76 (depends on 72) The hair care accessory of claim 72, wherein the one or more electrical contacts provide power to the first and second heating assembly. ### Claim 77 (depends on 72) The hair accessory of claim 72, wherein the elongate body is removably coupled to the hair care appliance via one or more slots and one or more corresponding protrusions located around the circumference of a collar. ### Claim 78 A hair care accessory, comprising: an elongate body having a first end and a second end, wherein the elongate body includes a collar at a substantial mid-portion between the first end and the second end of the elongate body, the collar being configured to removably couple the elongate body to a hair care appliance and defining an air inlet configured to receive airflow from the hair care appliance, the elongate body having a first heater assembly mounted thereon and a plurality of air outlets extending longitudinally, substantially in parallel one to another, toward the second end of the elongate body; an arm having a first end and a second end, the first end of the arm being movably coupled to the first end of the elongate body, the arm having a second heater assembly mounted thereon, the arm being movable between an open position in which the second heater assembly is spaced from the first heater assembly, and a closed position in which the first and second heater assemblies are configured to clamp hair therebetween. ### Claim 79 (depends on 78) The hair accessory of claim 78, wherein the plurality of air outlets comprise primary and secondary air outlets. ### Claim 80 (depends on 79) The hair accessory of claim 79, wherein the primary and secondary air outlets are fluidically coupled with each other. ### Claim 81 (depends on 80) The hair care accessory of claim 80, wherein the secondary air outlets are configured to draw ambient air. ### Claim 82 (depends on 81) The haircare accessory of claim 81, wherein the secondary air outlets are configured to cool the surface of the hair care accessory.
