Two-way separator

A two-way separator (100), comprising:

• a pair of fastener stringers (110A, 110B), comprising a pair of fastener tapes (112A, 112B) extending in a front-rear direction (X) and disposed opposite to each other in a left-right direction (Y), a pair of element columns (114A, 114B) arranged along the front-rear direction (X) on the pair of fastener tapes (112A, 112B) and capable of engaging with or separating from each other, and a separable pin (116) and a retainer pin (118) respectively disposed at rear end portions of the pair of fastener tapes (112A, 112B);
• and
• a pair of sliders (120A, 120B), disposed on the pair of fastener stringers (110A, 110B) in a state where their tails are opposite to each other, and capable of sliding along the fastener stringers (110A, 110B) in the front-rear direction (X) with the front and rear directions in the front-rear direction (X) respectively as opening directions for opening the pair of fastener stringers (110A, 110B), wherein
• in a situation where the pair of sliders (120A, 120B) are located at the rear end portions of the pair of fastener tapes (112A, 112B) and adjacent to each other in the front-rear direction (X), the separable pin (116) and the retainer pin (118) may be inserted into the pair of sliders (120A, 120B) or pulled out from the pair of sliders (120A, 120B),
• the pair of sliders (120A, 120B) each have a slider body (122) and a lock pin (126) protruding from a blade of the slider body (122) toward an internal element channel (124),
• the separable pin (116) has a separable pin body (116a), a separable pin protrusion (116b) protruding from the separable pin body (116a) toward the retainer pin (118), and a groove (116c) located at a rear end of the separable pin protrusion (116b),
• the retainer pin (118) has a retainer pin body (118a) and a retainer pin protrusion (118b) protruding from the retainer pin body (118a) toward the separable pin (116) and engaging with the groove (116c),
• the separable pin protrusion (116b) has a half tooth portion (116b1) and a tilt portion (116b2) located on an upper side of the half tooth portion (116b1),
• the tilt portion (116b2) has a tilt surface (116b3) that tilts from an upper surface (116a1) of the separable pin body (116a) toward a projecting side edge (116e1) of the half tooth portion (116b1) and tilts from an upper side toward a lower side in an up-down direction (Z), and
• a dimension (D1) of the tilt portion (116b2) in the up-down direction (Z) is greater than a protrusion amount (T) of the lock pin (126) protruding from the blade into the element channel (124) in the up-down direction (Z).
