Abstract
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel estimation for frequency division duplexing (FDD) communications, An example method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes obtaining one or more reference signals (RSs); sending, for each cluster of a set of clusters, an indication of cluster information, wherein the set of clusters is associated with a channel estimate for FDD communications between the UE and a network node, wherein the cluster information is based at least in part on one or more measurements of the one or more RSs; and sending an indication of a total number of the set of clusters.
Claims20
An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising a processing system that includes one or more processors and one or more memories coupled with the one or more processors, the processing system configured to cause a user equipment (UE) to:
- obtain one or more reference signals (RSs);
- and
- send, for each cluster of a set of clusters, an indication of cluster information, wherein the set of clusters is associated with a channel estimate for frequency division duplex (FDD) communications between the UE and a network node, wherein the cluster information is based at least in part on one or more measurements of the one or more RSs;
- and
- send an indication of a total number of the set of clusters.
An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising a processing system that includes one or more processors and one or more memories coupled with the one or more processors, the processing system configured to cause a network node to:
- send one or more reference signals (RSs);
- and
- obtain, for each cluster of a set of clusters, an indication of cluster information, wherein the set of clusters is associated with a channel estimate for frequency division duplex (FDD) communications between a user equipment (UE) and the network node, wherein the cluster information is based at least in part on one or more measurements of the one or more RSs;
- and
- obtain an indication of a total number of the set of clusters.
A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- obtaining one or more reference signals (RSS);
- and
- sending, for each cluster of a set of clusters, an indication of cluster information, wherein the set of clusters is associated with a channel estimate for frequency division duplex (FDD) communications between the UE and a network node, wherein the cluster information is based at least in part on one or more measurements of the one or more RSs;
- and
- sending an indication of a total number of the set of clusters.
