Backplane connector assembly with surrounding shielding sleeves

A backplane connector assembly, comprising:

• a first backplane connector and a second backplane connector for mating with the first backplane connector;
• wherein the first backplane connector comprises a first terminal module, the first terminal module comprises a plurality of first conductive terminals and a first shielding sleeve at least partially surrounding the first conductive terminals;
• the first shielding sleeve is of a surrounding configuration;
• the first conductive terminal comprises a first contact portion;
• wherein the second backplane connector comprises a second terminal module, the second terminal module comprises a plurality of second conductive terminals and a second shielding sleeve at least partially surrounding the second conductive terminals;
• the second shielding sleeve is of a surrounding configuration;
• the second conductive terminal comprises a second contact portion;
• when the first backplane connector and the second backplane connector are mated with each other along a mating direction, the first shielding sleeve and the second shielding sleeve are disposed adjacent to each other;
• the first contact portions of the first conductive terminals are in contact with the second contact portions of the second conductive terminals.
