Abstract
Disclosed herein are a battery casing, a battery pack, and a method of manufacturing battery packs. The battery casing is configured to house a plurality of battery cells, and includes a first casing, and a second casing coupled to the first casing at a bonding area by laser bonding. The first casing has a convex semicircular cross-sectional shape in the bonding area.

A battery casing configured to house a plurality of battery cells, the battery casing comprising:
- a first casing;
- and
- a second casing coupled to the first casing at a bonding area by laser bonding,
- wherein the first casing has a convex semicircular cross-sectional shape in the bonding area.

- a plurality of battery cells;

- a battery casing configured to house the plurality of battery cells,
