Abstract
Embodiments described herein relate to vehicle testing systems. In one implementation, a method includes receiving a request to perform a test involving at least one test device. The method also includes determining characteristics associated with the request including costs. The method also includes creating, using a cost optimization model based, at least in part, on the characteristics, an allocation of a remote device from a testing pool to operate as the at least one test device for executing the test. The method further includes providing the allocation to reserve the remote device and schedule a test session.
Claims20
A testing system, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory communicably coupled to the processor and storing:
- an allocation module including instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- receive a request to perform a test involving at least one test device;
- determine characteristics associated with the request including costs;
- create, using a cost optimization model based, at least in part, on the characteristics, an allocation of a remote device from a testing pool to operate as the at least one test device for executing the test;
- and
- provide the allocation to reserve the remote device and schedule a test session.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:
- receive a request to perform a test involving at least one test device;
- determine characteristics associated with the request including costs;
- create, using a cost optimization model based, at least in part, on the characteristics, an allocation of a remote device from a testing pool to operate as the at least one test device for executing the test;
- and
- provide the allocation to reserve the remote device and schedule a test session.
A method, comprising:
- receiving a request to perform a test involving at least one test device;
- determining characteristics associated with the request including costs;
- creating, using a cost optimization model based, at least in part, on the characteristics, an allocation of a remote device from a testing pool to operate as the at least one test device for executing the test;
- and
- providing the allocation to reserve the remote device and schedule a test session.
