Abstract
A label for analyzing a biological sample includes a first label part including at least one first nucleic acid strand, a second label part including a second nucleic acid strand, and a third label part including a third nucleic acid strand. The first nucleic acid strand, the second nucleic acid strand, and the third nucleic acid strand are configured to form a triplex with each other. The first label part includes at least one labelling moiety.

A label for analyzing a biological sample, the label comprising:
- a first label part comprising at least one first nucleic acid strand;
- a second label part comprising a second nucleic acid strand;
- and
- a third label part comprising a third nucleic acid strand,
- wherein the first nucleic acid strand, the second nucleic acid strand, and the third nucleic acid strand are configured to form a triplex with each other, and
- wherein the first label part comprises at least one labelling moiety.

A method for analyzing a biological sample, the method comprising:
- introducing at least a first label part into the biological sample;
- and
- generating an optical readout of the biological sample with at least the first label part,
- wherein the first label part comprises at least one first nucleic acid strand and at least one labelling moiety, and
- wherein the first nucleic acid strand is configured to form a triplex with a second nucleic acid strand and a third nucleic acid strand.
