The present invention refers to a supply support configured in a strip shape and comprising a plurality of collection portions presenting collection confinements of individual portions configured so that can be operated in a beverage preparation machine, such as for example a coffee machine of espresso type. The further invention further refers to a cartridge for collection of supply support and to a beverage preparation system comprising said cartridge and a beverage preparation machine. The supply support presents a simple and efficient construction, with material properties and dimensional aspects adapted so that the supply support can be manufactured with less costs, can be more space efficiently collected inside a cartridge and can be operatively actuated in a more efficient and reliable manner by a traction device of a beverage preparation machine.

A system for preparing beverages comprising a cartridge containing a supply support of multiple individual portions provided so that can be operated by a beverage preparation machine, the supply support including support sheets juxtaposed and united to each other along a connection plane wherein the beverage preparation machine comprises an extraction device configured so that can retain the collection portions around collection confinements, each collection confinement presenting a total height that extends on both sides of the connection plane, and each collection confinements presenting a characteristic transversal collection dimension in the connection plain, and, wherein ratio between the characteristic transversal collection dimension and the total height that extends on both sides of the connection plane of between 3.0:1 and 6.0:1.
