Abstract
A tissue box device is provided. The device is comprised of an outer box that stores fresh tissues and an inner box nested within the outer box to collect used tissues until disposal. The inner box wraps around three sides of the outer box wall and is secured by a tether to prevent full detachment during operation. The outer box features a top compartment with a dispensing slot designed to release a single tissue at a time. The inner box includes a bottom door with a hinge for hands-free disposal of used tissues, secured by a latch or locking mechanism. A method of using the device involves loading fresh tissues, inserting the inner box, dispensing tissues as needed, placing used tissues in the inner compartment, and releasing them through the bottom door for hygienic disposal.
Claims20
A tissue box device comprising:
- an outer box comprising a fresh tissue compartment, the fresh tissue compartment comprised of a dispensing slot dimensioned to dispense a tissue;
- an inner box nested within the outer box, the inner box comprising a used tissue compartment, wherein the inner box is horizontally slidable relative to the outer box and is configured to wrap around a left, a right, and a bottom side of a side wall of the outer box when fully inserted into the outer box;
- and
- further wherein the inner box is comprised of a bottom door configured to open outward to release a used tissue from the used tissue compartment.
A tissue box device comprising:
- an outer box comprising a fresh tissue compartment, the fresh tissue compartment comprised of a dispensing slot dimensioned to dispense a tissue;
- an inner box nested within the outer box, the inner box comprising a used tissue compartment, wherein the inner box is horizontally slidable relative to the outer box and is configured to wrap around a left, a right, and a bottom side of a side wall of the outer box when fully inserted into the outer box;
- and
- further wherein the inner box is comprised of a bottom door attached to the inner box via a fold or a hinge, wherein the bottom door is configured to open outward to release a used tissue from the used tissue compartment.
A method of using a tissue box device, the method comprising the following steps:
- providing a tissue box device comprised of an outer box comprised of a fresh tissue compartment with a dispensing slot, and an inner box comprised of used tissue compartment, wherein the inner box is horizontally slidable relative to the outer box;
- placing a fresh tissue into the fresh tissue compartment of the outer box such that the fresh tissue aligns with the dispensing slot;
- inserting the inner box into the outer box until the inner box wraps around a left, a right, and a bottom sides of a side wall of the outer box;
- dispensing the tissue through the dispensing slot;
- sliding the inner box partially out of the outer box and placing a used tissue into the used tissue compartment;
- opening a removable bottom door of the inner box to release the tissue from the used tissue compartment into a trash receptacle;
- and
- closing and securing the removable bottom door and reinserting the inner box into the outer box for continued use.
